A single room DIY
warm water underfloor heating Kit ideal for conservatories and small extensions, this
floor heating Kit is suitable for conservatories from 12m2 to 17.5m2 and lower heat requirement areas up to 22
m2. This is a fully pumped and temperature controlled Under
floor heating Kit and requires limited plumbing and electric wiring skills.
This Kit can be added to an existing wet heating system and the will operate at the lower water temperature required for underfloor heating without changing the temperature of the existing system.
The floor heating Tubing should be installed on top of good quality floor insulation and covered by a sand and cement screed normally 4 Sand / 1 Cement. Floor finish should be as ceramic tiles, slate etc.
This underfloor heating Pack includes:-
*100 metres 18mm OD high temperature Pert-al-Pert Pipe which has been tested and approved for temperatures and pressures well above those required for floor heating. The pipe has a 100% oxygen barrier.
* One Reliance Compact UFH Control Unit
* 200 push in pipe clips
* Fittings to connect 18mm underfloor pipe to 15mm copper pipe.
* 25 metres of 8mm x 130mm edge insulation.
* Installation Manual
The tubing must be cut with a pipe cutter and re rounded using a plastic reamer. So as not to financially penalize regular users we don’t include these items in this Under floor heating Kit. If you don’t already have these items they can be purchased from our Tool Section
We advise you to fully use the 100 metres of underfloor tubing, the correct spacings for the relevant floor areas are shown below :-
12.5m2 = 125mm Centre to Centre
15m2 = 150mm Centre to Centre
17.5m2 = 175mm Centre to Centre
20m2 = 200mm Centre to Centre
22m2 = 225mm Centre to Centre
For high heat loss areas like conservatories we would recommend tube spacing of no more than 175mm centre to centre.
This system should be controlled by a room thermostat, if operating along with the existing time clock a standard room thermostat would do. If operating independent of existing time clock we would recommend a programmable room thermostat. For more information and prices visit our control section
