Underfloor Heating
Warm water underfloor heating is the best form of heating to use with renewable energy systems like Ground Source and Air source Heat pumps as well as modern Oil Fired and Gas Fired condensing boilers. The low water temperature required for underfloor heating maximises the efficiency of these appliances leaving you with lower running costs and reducing CO2 emissions. As you can see we offer excellent value for money in our on line shop and can provide the same level of competitive pricing on our bespoke systems which are designed by our experienced engineers to the exact requirements of your project. Heat Pumps
The two most common types of heat pump are Ground source and Air source. The Ground source heat Pump collects low grade heat from the ground using either a horizontal or vertical brine loop. The Air source heat pump collects low grade heat from the air around us. In each case the low grade heat is upgraded to a useful temperature for heating by the heat pump’s refrigeration cycle. Modern heat pumps can produce hot water in excess of 60c but the fact is that they are most energy efficient at lower temperatures of around 35 to 40c. These low temperatures are ideal for underfloor heating but not radiators which are designed for mean water temperature of 75c Read More >>
Solar Water Heating
Every year the average home in the British Isles uses approximately 3000 Kw/hr to heat domestic hot water alone and every square metre of our surface area receives 1000 Kw/ hr. per year. Surely it makes sense for us to use this free energy to heat our domestic hot water and in addition by using our stainless steel thermal store cylinders we can utilise this everlasting energy to contribute to our under floor heating system or radiator or towel rail system as well. Integrated Systems
The heating system in a building consists of space heating, usually by underfloor heating, radiators or convectors, or a mixture of these plus hot water for bathing and dish washing etc. The heat required for this purpose can be generated by many sources or a mixture of sources for example fossil fuel as in oil or gas, renewable energy sources like heat pumps and solar or boilers burning materials with closed carbon cycles like wood pellets, wood chip etc. also multifuel cookers and stoves. Using their vast experience our technical staff can assist you integrating any of the above into our underfloor heating systems and many quite simply at minimum effort using our Stainless steel thermal store cylinders. Cylinders
We supply a range of cylinders for use with solar collectors. Our thermal store cylinders are manufactured in the UK from Duplex 2304 stainless steel , insulated with CFC and HCFC free polyurethane foam encased in a mild steel white plastic coated finish and corrosion resistant base and have a lifetime guarantee. Our thermal store cylinders are supplied solar ready and are ideal for integrating solar energy into the heating/hot water system. Some models will allow the easy integration of another secondary heat source as well. Read More >>
Training
All our bespoke systems are fully designed systems and are supplied with all necessary diagrams. Our bespoke underfloor heating systems are supplied with easy to follow CAD tubing layouts and we can supply you all the necessary diagrams for easy connection to any heat source whether supplied by us or not. If you have problems we will be happy to sort them out for you by phone or email, we can also offer you a system commission at a very reasonable cost, this cost will vary depending on location and we will quote you on request. We can also quote you for on site training if required, we feel that on site training is much more cost effective than you our your staff travelling to some far off location to work on a mock up system with many other people. Rather than having unproductive training on site training is getting the job done at the same time as the training. Read More >>
